Passaggi di tempo is a project that took shape slowly, like certain ideas that grow without haste, nourished by time and experience.
It speaks of suspended moments, of landscapes that reveal themselves gradually, of sensations that emerge step by step.
It’s a project that adapts, that changes form, that lets reality pass through it. A story that comes alive through encounters with the world and its unpredictable rhythm.
There’s always a moment of waiting. The roll of film must be finished, then developed. Only then can I pause and observe each shot, letting the images take me back bringing back the sounds, the smells, the taste of that place.
From there, the colors are born. A palette of shades that holds the memory of light air, damp earth, wind rustling through the shrubs.
And finally, the ceramics. The search for the right tone, the continuous experimentation tests, trials, numbers.
The color layers itself, shifts, transforms, like light over a landscape, like time as it passes, leaving behind traces to be gathered and preserved.
